Community Outreach/ Public Relations
Involving the stakeholders, promoting the Coalition and educating/updating the public about the work of the Coalition. Oversees the general media plan and all public communications, including website management.

Resource Assessment
Maintaining an inventory of existing community programs, assessing their effectiveness and connection to identified risk factors in the community. Working closely with the risk assessment committee, matching resources to needs and including in the annual community profile.

Risk/ Protective Factor Assessment
Collecting risk and protective factor data for analysis, analyzing the data to identify priorities and overseeing data collection processes on an annual basis, contributing to the renewal of the community profile.

Youth Involvement
Identifying ways to recruit and encourage youth participation, developing youth representation and coordinating youth focused activities.

1 year committment— May meet monthly based on need

Board Maintenance
Sustaining a healthy board through membership development, establishment of communication, reporting protocols and operational policies.

Finance
Oversees the operational budget of the Coalition, identifying funding sources, and assuring compliance with grant administrated monies.
